Due to the potential of 40 degree heat, the tournament organizers started the day at 8.45 am with a full compliment of rinks ready to “rock & roll”. Eventual winners were the Moama team consisting of Peter Broom, Tony Hawley, Merv Harvey and Rob Wastell.

In accepting their winnings, many thanks were extended to the sponsor Country Care, the opposing teams, the tournament organizers and the many volunteers who made the day very successful. Very close runners up were the Maryborough Highland Society team of Shane Rose, Ken Rogers, Brian Daley and Greg Shea.

The Gold Letter Spin Winner was Trevor Zimmer.
